Interim Process Assistant

• Responsibilities:
• •Track and report ATS/labor hours
• •Occasionally assist with production duties, train associates and verify SOP (standard operating procedure) compliance
• •Ensure successful area performance through tracking and reporting metrics
• •Independently assess all aspects of associate work performance and provide timely and detailed feedback
• •Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives
• •Maintain a full understanding of workflow and daily production goals
• •Review and update SOP’s as required
• •Ensure work areas remain clean and are properly equipped
• •Identify and address safety hazards within the work area, and participate in safety initiatives
• •Coach associates on ways to work safely at all times
• •Ensure all job injuries are reported timely in accordance with established policies and procedures
• •Provide vacation coverage for Area Managers

• Rural Super Rural (RSR) is an exciting organization within Amazon dedicated to ensuring our customers receive their deliveries and are satisfied with their service, even in our most remote area. We are a combination of operations and support teams aligned to continually strive to innovate the last mile delivery process while bringing smiles to our customer’s faces.

Process Assistants are part of the Last Mile operations in RSR and play a crucial role in this rapidly growing team. Process Assistants are responsible for daily management of department duties including: allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties, providing work direction and communicating with internal and external suppliers.

Basic qualifications

- A Bachelor’s Degree or above in Financial Engineering, Financial Mathematics, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science major preferred.

- 6+ years of building, testing, implementing and validating models in a financial services technology, payments, merchant/acquiring, audit/consulting, business software, retail or online services company (preferably AI/ML models)

- Knowledge of SQL and Big Data technologies like Hadoop or similar

- Experience developing pricing and risk models using Python, R or C++ is a plus.

- Experience in designing and implementing new model risk management programs or processes from the ground up.

- Excellent written and spoken communication skill

- Knowledge of data management fundamentals and data storage principles

Preferred qualifications

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills to understand and validate models effectively

- Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal form across functional groups within the company, with Clients, Customers and Vendors, as well as Senior Management.

- Experience with big data: extraction, processing, filtering, and presenting large data quantities via AWS technologies, SQL, and data pipelines

- Ability to manage through influence

- Master's degree

The starting pay for this position is listed below including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, you are eligible for additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
