The Opportunity

We are currently on the lookout for an Intern - Quality Engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will gain h ands-on experience in software testing across various types of applications and services and exposure to real-world project work and cross-functional collaboration. It’s also an opportunity to learn automation and testing tools under the guidance of experienced engineers which developing the professional skills essential for a career in Software Quality Engineering

Responsibilities:

Test Case Design & Execution: Assist ing in creating, maintaining , and executing test cases, and scripts based on system requirements and design specifications ; Support ing functional, exploratory, usability, and regression testing efforts

Defect Management: Identify ing and document ing bugs clearly during testing activities , c ollaborat ing with developers and QA team members to ensure timely tracking and resolution of issues

Participat ing in ongoing project work, including testing activities

Automation Learning: Support ing automation efforts by identifying basic scenarios suitable for automation and learning to develop simple scripts under supervision

Requirements:

Must be c urrently pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology , Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Strong interest in software quality assurance, including manual and automation testing

A b asic understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), and defect management

Exposure to or the willingness to learn tools such as Postman for API testing

Familiarity with programming fundamentals (knowledge of Java or similar languages is a plus)

Good written and verbal communication skills

Enthusiastic team player with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
