Engagement Planning

• •Risk Research: Perform assigned research using a broad spectrum of methods (web searches, professional publications, webinars, etc.) to identify relevant risks, regulations, and processes relevant to the engagement topic.
• •Stakeholder Interviews: Participate in and observe interviews with business partners and oversight groups to gather necessary information.
• •Documentation: Assist the engagement supervisor(s) in drafting required planning documents tailored to the specific project type.

Engagement Fieldwork

• •Process Walkthroughs: Participate in walkthroughs with business partners at the direction of the supervisor to deeply understand processes and controls. Document results via flowcharts and detailed narratives.
• •Control Testing & Process Analysis: Complete assigned tests, maturity assessments, and work papers accurately and completely under supervision. This includes evaluating
• •control design, analyzing process efficiency, verifying control execution and recording sound conclusions.
• •Observation Validation: Assist the engagement supervisor in validating any identified control exceptions or process improvement observations directly with business partners.

Engagement Reporting & Remediation

• •Findings Communication: Participate in meetings to convey engagement findings and strategic recommendations to Management. Assist in the preparation of required deliverables, as needed.
• •Report Drafting: Participate in reviewing and editing the final engagement report to ensure total accuracy and alignment with the work performed.
• •Action Plan Retesting: Conduct assigned retesting of management action plans under supervision to validate that actions were completed successfully.
• •Internal Team Support
• •Departmental Initiatives: Participate in team committees and initiatives (e.g., event planning, quality assurance reviews of completed projects, special projects to develop future processes, and internal software support).
• •Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• •Experience: 0 to 2 years of professional experience in assurance, internal audit, advisory, consulting or a related field.
• •Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a relevant field.

Required Skills

• •Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with Workiva is highly preferred.
• •Communication: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to probe, question, listen attentively, and communicate effectively across the organization. (Fluent in the written and verbal skills necessary to successfully perform essential functions).
• •Work Ethic: Inquisitive and proactive team player with high attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• •Analytical Thinking: Critical thinker with a demonstrated ability to draw conclusions, solve problems, and support improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• •Industry Experience: Healthcare background and/or Big 4 public accounting experience.
• •Technical Skills: Experience with Data Analytics concepts.
• •Global Exposure: Experience with international work or anti-corruption audits.

The Wage Range for the role is $36.50 - $50.50 per hour.

If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.
