Air Waybills (AWB) and other carrier documentation
Prepare proforma invoices and support required export paperwork
File Verified Gross Mass (VGM) for applicable shipments
Coordinate with cartage/drayage providers for inland transportation
Negotiate rates with carriers and airlines and prepare customer quotations
Act as the primary liaison between customers, carriers, and service providers
Manage both outgoing and incoming freight, with a primary emphasis on outbound
Ensure compliance with export regulations and documentation requirements
Who You Are
A strong communicator who can coordinate effectively across customers, carriers, and internal teams
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to navigate logistical challenges independently
Thrives in an in-office, team-based environment
What You’ll Bring
3–5+ years of experience in freight forwarding or export coordination (ocean and/or air)
Working knowledge of export documentation and processes (e.g., CERS, shipping instructions, AWB)
Experience handling FCL/LCL and/or air export shipments
Experience negotiating rates with carriers and/or airlines
Familiarity with origin-side operations (quotations, bookings, inland cartage/drayage)
Dangerous Goods (DG) knowledge or certification is considered an asset
Air or Ocean certification is considered an asset
Strong attention to detail and compliance mindset
