Team & Context:

At Murex, Analytical Consultants contribute to the quantitative foundations of solutions used daily across global financial markets .

Depending on your assignment, you may join teams specializing in financial engineering, advanced analytics, risk methodologies, quantitative validation, market data, optimization or innovation. Working alongside quantitative researchers, product specialists, software engineers and financial experts, you will help design, assess and improve analytical frameworks supporting trading, risk management and investment decisions.

From pricing complex financial instruments to validating risk methodologies and exploring new analytical approaches , your work will contribute directly to the evolution of MX.3 and the solutions delivered to financial institutions worldwide .

Your missions /What you’ll do ?

Following an onboarding program covering financial markets, quantitative finance and the MX.3 platform, you will contribute to projects combining mathematical modelling, analytical thinking and technology. Depending on your assignment , you may:

Analyze complex financial and quantitative challenges and design analytical solutions;

Develop , validate and benchmark models , methodologies and analytical frameworks ;

Build prototypes, testing environments and data- driven tools using modern technologies;

Collaborate with quantitative researchers , product specialists and software engineers to enhance Murex solutions;

Explore innovative topics in quantitative finance, risk analytics, optimization and artificial intelligence, and present your findings to experts and stakeholders.

A glimpse of the topics you could work on:

Our interns contribute to a wide variety of strategic analytical initiatives across the Murex ecosystem.

Recent projects have explored:

quantitative modelling and validation of pricing methodologies;

risk analytics, sensitivities and performance attribution;

numerical methods and simulation techniques;

portfolio and investment analytics;

model benchmarking and validation frameworks;

optimization and decision-support methodologies;

data-driven analytics and artificial intelligence applications;

design and assessment of analytical components shaping the future of the MX.3 platform.

No two internships are exactly the same. Each assignment is built around a real analytical challenge and provides exposure to both advanced quantitative techniques and real-w orld financial applications.

Your profile /Who you are?

Final-year student from an Engineering School or equivalent Master's degree (a specialization in quantitative fields is a plus).

Strong academic background in Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Data Science, Physics, Engineering or Computer Science .

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills .

Interest in financial markets, modelling, analytics and technology .

Experience with Python or similar programming languages .

Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively .

Curious , rigorous and eager to learn .

Fluency in English is required . French is a plus depending on the team.
