Your Mission

Help shape the future of digital healthcare and surgical innovation. As part of Stryker’s Research & Development team, you will contribute to projects that combine medical imaging, software development, and surgical navigation technologies. You'll gain hands-on experience working with advanced technologies, develop practical engineering skills, and collaborate with experts from different disciplines. This Medical Engineering Internship offers meaningful project ownership, exposure to innovation in a global MedTech company, and the opportunity to contribute to technologies that help improve patient care worldwide.

What You'll Do

Develop prototype solutions for innovative applications in surgical navigation and medical imaging

Support proof-of-concept projects for next-generation navigation technologies

Implement and test software solutions using C++ , Python , and MATLAB

Evaluate technologies and concepts within advanced medical imaging and navigation ecosystems

Collaborate with an international Research & Development team to bring innovative ideas to life

What You'll Bring

Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Medical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field

Good knowledge of object-oriented programming and experience with C++

Initial experience with Python , MATLAB , or similar programming languages

Familiarity with OpenCV , VTK , Qt , DCMTK , or comparable software libraries is a plus

Good English language skills (minimum B2)
