Job Description

Job Summary:

This role requires strong attention to detail and a strict adherence to processes. Responsibilities include processing domestic and export shipments, verifying verifying shipment documentation against materials prior to shipment, and performing a variety of physical and administrative duties in a manufacturing warehouse environment.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• •Generate and distribute daily shipping reports
• •Assist Inventory Control and Stockroom Coordinator with performing cycle counts
• •Assemble accessory kits and maintain accurate shipping records
• •Verify shipping documentation, materials, and quantities before shipment
• •Package, prepare, and palletize shipments in accordance with established procedures
• •Process shipments through SAP and customer shipping platforms
• •Schedule freight pickups and coordinate transportation as needed
• •Respond to requests for shipment dimensions, weights, and related information
• •Prepare return labels for RMAs and coordinate returns with vendors
• •Process Shipping Request Forms through SharePoint, verify all required approvals are obtained, and ensure compliance with established shipping procedures
• •Perform shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution activities for materials, parts, supplies, and equipment
• •Collaborate with various departments to resolve issues to ensure timely and accurate shipment processing
• •Ensure compliance with export regulations, GTC requirements, and hazardous materials shipping procedures
• •Follow 5S standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• •Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• •High attention to detail
• •Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• •Adheres to GTC requirements with export shipments
• •Ability to handle hazardous goods shipments by established procedures
• •Ability to prioritize and complete high-volume shipping activities in a fast-paced environment to meet delivery deadlines
• •Must be able to manage emails daily and provide timely response
• •Collaboration & Teamwork skills are required to effectively serve internal and external customers, and interface with various support groups in order to establish priorities and achieve results
• •Forklift operation is required, training is provided as needed

Education and Experience:

• •High school diploma or GED
• •1-2+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment
• •Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment – desired
• •Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to navigate Microsoft Office Suite
• •Prior experience working with electronic shipping systems, such as FedEx, UPS, USPS, and DHL

Physical Requirements:

• •Ability to stand up to 4 hours a day
• •Ability to sit up to 6 hours a day
• •Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs., unassisted
• •Ability to team lift and carry objects up to 70 lbs.
• •Ability to bend, twist, and stoop when packaging items for shipment

Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.

Salary Range:

$39,000.00-$52,000.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
