Inventory Control Specialist

Your Opportunity, Your Team

• •The Product Central Specialist supports QVC and verifies the accuracy of the physical product in stock against the Inventory Management System.
• •The compensation for this role is $20/Hour.

Where You'll Work

• •This role is onsite and will require you to work from our West Chester, PA facility daily. Relocation assistance not available for this role.
• •Full Time, Monday - Friday (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM)

What You'll Do

• •Count physical stock at location in the warehouse due to discrepancies and established inventory row counting practices. May require counts of all alternative product locations if warehouse quantity does not match system count. At location, verifies actual quantity, sku numbers, product, and location labeling. Will row count all locations at least once a year to verify accuracy observing inventory accounting guidelines.
• •Support the inventory management of merchant and vendor samples by physically receiving, stowing, picking and delivering.
• •Audits receipts, putaways, show prep, show returns inventory guidelines.
• •Perform exit audits of stock leaving the warehouse area. Verify manifest quantities, descriptions, and locations match actual product.
• •Respond to stock/location questions and Warehouse Specialist problems, i.e., mixed SKUs or mis-ID's, merchant and vendor customer service.

What You'll Bring

• •A working knowledge of spreadsheets and database programs, Excel, Access, and Microsoft Office experience, including the development of databases, to include importing and exporting information.
• •Familiarity with the computerized Inventory Management System and Returns Facility Operations to research problems.
• •Education: A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required.
• •Experience: A minimum of two years of inventory experience or previous work in an analytical position. Prior equipment operations and physical inventory experience.
