IP Security Manager, Intellectual Property Security

We are searching for an Intellectual Property (IP) Security Manager who is able to develop, implement, and lead security projects and programs to support Amazon’s Devices and Services (D&S) teams. This position will provide IP protection and strategic guidance to pre-release consumer electronic device programs and will support the overall security posture for Amazon’s key customer teams in the technology and product manufacturing space. Our team works with Amazon's global D&S teams to solve IP and supply chain security challenges at scale. We work backwards from the builder's perspective to devise innovative security solutions that keep our new products secret and safe until launch day. We dive deep into new products and technologies to develop bespoke security solutions that are scalable and long-term, and that are built to eliminate customer friction and accelerate PDP. Our team is looking for a highly intelligent security professional to join us and help us continue to raise the security bar for Amazon. • Key job responsibilities
• Some of the role responsibilities include:
• •Serving as the embedded IP Security liaison to connect business stakeholders with Prototype Security programs and services
• •Serving as the subject matter security expert to internal business stakeholders on IP Protection, supply chain risk, go-to-market security strategy, and program confidentiality
• •Performing project risk evaluations to provide project stakeholders with an IP Protection executive summary highlighting overall risks and threats to the project
• •Working cross functionally with peers in Legal, Hardware, Supply Chain Ops, Trade & Compliance, EHS, and Security to establish scalable Prototype Security standards
• •Representing IP Security and providing risk guidance in critical business review, core team, and all hands meetings
• •Tracking and documenting new product proposals, status updates, and risk throughout Amazon’s product development process.
• •Working collaboratively with team members to determine strategic direction for the larger Supply Chain & IP Security teams.
• •Assisting in the development of IP Security playbooks and awareness materials, to include online training modules, and be willing to deploy and conduct in person training sessions, employee outreach events, educational posters and handout material
• •Actively evaluating, analyzing, and using metrics collected to proactively inform programmatic needs and policy decisions
• •Assisting in the drafting and publication of policies and standards related to global prototype security programs.

Basic qualifications

• - Experience in the security field in a global corporate environment or large-sized organization (e.g. NGO, public sector, police, or military), including experience in a managerial role
• - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or a related field
• - 5+ years of facility/corporate security management, law enforcement, risk management, legal, or related industries experience
• - Experience working in an office environment
• - Experience managing service providers and vendors
• - Experience in operational excellence using six sigma methodologies

Preferred qualifications

• - Experience in security management
• - Experience using English communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster seamless interaction with stakeholders at all levels
• - Certifications: PMP, CPP, Lean Six Sigma.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
