- The foundation of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is prevention, achieved by maintaining a meticulously clean cultivation environment. This begins with the Room Reset, a time sensitive protocol for cleaning and sanitizing flower rooms immediately following harvest to establish a contaminant free space for incoming plants from the vegetation rooms. Room reset involves the following tasks.
Removing all pots, trellis, weed barriers, tags, and other large debris
Gathering all smaller, loose debris from tables and floors
Meticulously cleaning tables, trellis poles, irrigation lines, sensors, walls and floors
Communicating with Maintenance and Fertigation about repairs or necessities for the room
Maintaining sanitation equipment
Managing inventory of supplies and cleaning products
Upkeeping records of room resets and KPIs
Being available as a backup spray applicator technician, with full training
When Room Reset duties are complete or assistance is not required, the IPM Technician will also have the following duties:
Monitor plants daily for pests, diseases, and overall plant health through routine scouting and inspections
Mix and apply pesticides, preventative treatments, beneficial insects, and approved cleaning agents according to established protocols
Operate and maintain Dramm Hydraulic Sprayers and other IPM equipment
Apply biological controls and preventative treatments to support healthy plant growth
Maintain accurate pesticide application records and compliance documentation
Partner with the IPM Supervisor to coordinate treatment schedules and application plans
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and all regulatory requirements
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to all safety protocols
Conduct follow-up inspections and document results to ensure treatments are effective and our quality standards are consistently met
What You’ll Bring:
A positive attitude and collaborative mindset and you enjoy working with others and contributing to a strong team environment

A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to maintaining accurate records and following established procedures

The ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds on a regular basis and remain standing, walking, or seated for extended periods throughout the shift
Comfortable working in a cultivation environment that may include exposure to common allergens, pesticides, cleaning agents, elevated temperatures, humidity, and increased CO₂ levels while following all required safety protocols
