Janitorial Tech

Rock West Composites is seeking a Facilities Janitorial Tech to support regional facilities with cleaning and janitorial services.

Position Summary:

The Facilities Janitorial Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of company facilities. This role performs routine janitorial and facility support duties while helping maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming work environment for employees and visitors.

What You'll Own

Daily cleaning and upkeep of offices, production areas, and common spaces

Facility appearance and organization

Waste removal and recycling

Basic grounds maintenance and exterior cleanliness

Safe and sanitary work environment

Essential Functions

Facility Cleaning & Maintenance

Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming work environments.

Monitor facility supply inventory and restock janitorial, breakroom, kitchen, restroom, and other common area supplies as needed.

Perform routine cleaning activities including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and restroom maintenance.

Clean and disinfect common areas and high-touch surfaces throughout the facility.

Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.

Facility Support

Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming work environment.

Perform basic grounds maintenance, including mowing, landscaping, and exterior cleanup.

Respond to facility cleaning requests and maintenance-related needs as assigned.

Support facility improvement projects and perform other general facility duties as needed.

Non-Essential Functions

Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous janitorial, custodial, facilities, or general maintenance experience is preferred but not required.

Technical Skills

Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment, supplies, and safe cleaning practices.

Ability to perform routine facility maintenance and groundskeeping tasks.

Ability to safely use common hand tools and cleaning equipment.

Professional Skills

Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, lifting, bending, and walking throughout the shift.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Range: $20 - $25 (based on experience and skillset)
