Java Backend Developer- Assistant Vice President

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with 7+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate combines deep Java/Spring Boot backend expertise with strong front-end skills in Node.js/TypeScript. This is a hands-on role focused on building scalable, high-performance applications on a microservices architecture, with strong database, CI/CD, and communication skills essential.

Key Responsibilities

• •Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• •Build microservices that ensure high availability, resilience, and performance.
• •Develop responsive, maintainable user interfaces using Node.js/TypeScript.
• •Integrate multiple API services across diverse databases.
• •Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment and operational support.
• •Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, scope projects, and deliver quality solutions.
• •Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and champion technical excellence.
• •Proactively address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and technical debt.
• •Maintain clear documentation for developed components and processes.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical

• •Strong proficiency in Java and mandatory experience with Spring Boot.
• •Proven experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
• •Experience building API services across multiple databases, including MongoDB and OraaS.
• •Front-end development with Node.js/TypeScript.
• •Containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• •Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD tools and practices.

Soft Skills

• •Exceptional written and verbal communication, able to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• •Self-motivated and effective both independently and within a team.
• •Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good to Have

• •Experience with Python.
• •Experience with AI coding tools such as Devin or Copilot.
