Role Description

Build tailored Java SE/EE and Spring Boot solutions that keep modern banks running smoothly

Write and run thorough unit tests to ensure your code is rock solid and reliable

Share your knowledge and offer practical guidance on implementing best practices

Own key configuration tasks that ensure our solutions are optimized, stable, and aligned with client needs

Analyze change requests and defects, and turn them into opportunities to make the system better and more efficient

This is a long-term opportunity and is not tied to a specific project. Successful candidates will be considered for multiple current and future project opportunities based on their skills and experience

Skills and Expertise

Hands-on experience developing RESTful API microservices using Java, Spring, Maven and OpenAPI 3

Strong understanding of core Java concepts

Solid understanding of Spring Boot, Spring Web, Spring Data (JPA/Hibernate), and Spring Security (OAuth 2.0)

Experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle

Understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles

Knowledge of fundamental algorithms and data structures

Familiarity with asynchronous messaging systems (e.g. Kafka)

Experience in the digital industry, ideally within banking, insurance, financial services, or management consulting

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is highly valued

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to quickly understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions

Front-end development experience with frameworks such as Angular or React is highly valued
