• The Role:
• We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our Accounting Team in Antwerp on a 6-month contract as a maternity leave replacement. In this role, you will support day-to-day accounting operations and assist with month-end close procedures.

What You'll Be Doing:

Participate in AR process including billing and customer collections

Ongoing journal entry preparation

Owning GL related month-end close tasks (specifically with cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accruals)

Responsible for ongoing AP process including vendor management and payments

Preparing bank reconciliations, schedules and analyses

Involved with monthly financial statement preparation and analysis

Performing ad hoc analyses and projects as needed

What We're Looking For:

3+ years of corporate accounting or public accounting experience (can be a combination of both)

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

Proficiency with ExactOnline and NetSuite or comparable ERP system is a plus,

Competent with Excel and other MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM system is a plus

Strong attention to detail and ability to research discrepancies to solve problems

Proven ability for clear and effective written / verbal communication in English and Dutch

Ability to work independently, maintain tight deadlines, solve problems proactively
