Salary range: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00

As a Junior Project Accountant at Perini Management Services, reporting to the Senior Cost Engineer , you will have the opportunity to:

• •Perform cost accounting for domestic and overseas operations, including, but not limited to, entering and maintaining budgets, preparing monthly contract projections, processing employee reimbursements, processing vendor and subcontractor payment requests, and preparing monthly billings for work performed, including time and materials billing.
• •Assist with the monthly WIP revenue recognition process.
• •Set up new jobs, cost codes, and budgets, and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis for Operations and/or Estimating on an as-needed basis.
• •Maintain and reconcile petty cash accounts and other accounts as required.
• •Resolve discrepancies on invoices or reports by interfacing with other departments, project controllers, construction and operations teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
• •Assist with internal and external audits.

Requirements:

• •This is an on-site role located in Framingham, MA.
• •Four-year degree or currently in the process of completing a degree.
• •Construction accounting experience is preferred but not required.
• •Good written and verbal communication skills.
• •Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• •Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and maintain focus.
• •Must be a team player who is motivated to learn and has a strong desire to take on new challenges.
