Junior QA Engineer

J ob Overview:

We are currently looking for a motivated Junior Manual QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team and help ensure the delivery of reliable, high-performing software.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications/skills:

Minimum 1 year of experience in software quality assurance or testing

University Degree in Computer Science or related field

Basic understanding of QA methodologies, tools and processes

Familiarity with web and/or mobile application testing

Experience working with bug tracking tools (like Jira)

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Good communication skills in English

The successful candidate will be accountable for:

Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on requirements and user stories

Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure product quality

Report bugs clearly and track them through resolution

Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and tools

Ensure software applications meet functional and non-functional requirements

Nice to have:

Exposure to Agile/Scrum development processes

Background in the financial sector is considered a strong asset

Knowledge of APIs and API testing is a plus

Knowledge of SQL queries is considered an advantage

Any relevant QA/testing certification is a plus
