JOB DESCRIPTION

Keppel is a leading global asset manager and operator with strong capabilities in energy & environment, urban development and connectivity, creating solutions for a sustainable future.

  • The intern will be responsible in the following:
  • Conduct research on emerging AI solutions relevant to the energy/renewables sector
  • Develop simple AI use cases (E.g. price forecasting, demand/load forecasting, and contract review)
  • Support integration of AI tools into business processes
  • Work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data/AI-driven solutions
  • Learning Outcomes:
  • 'Learn to identify where and how AI can optimize business processes, improve customer segmentation, and accelerate sales.
  • Understand how to evaluate the business impact of AI tools and track performance metrics.
  • Learn to ingest, clean, preprocess, and manage large datasets.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Familiarity with machine learning or AI tools (ChatGPT APIs, Azure AI, etc.)
  • Interest in AI, automation, and business applications
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders
