[Keppel Internship Programme 2027] Intern, Portfolio Management and Asset Management (Jan - May 2027)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Keppel is a leading global asset manager and operator with strong capabilities in energy & environment, urban development and connectivity, creating solutions for a sustainable future.

• The intern will be responsible in the following:
• Compiling and analysing portfolio and asset related metrices
• Participate in asset performance monitoring and modelling to identify areas of improvement. Where applicable, there could be opportunity to present to senior management of Keppel.
• Support the asset management team in developing and implementing asset enhancement and divestment strategies
• Conduct research on education and local real estate markets, including transactions, trends, and competitor analysis
• Assist to prepare internal presentations and reports for decision making, and collating data for ESG related requirements
• Assist in any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

• Learning Outcomes:
• Learn how to implement asset management strategies and monitor fund/portfolio performance, conduct feasibility studies and use of analytics such as Power BI. Improve analytical skills.
• Improve communication skills (through presentation – both verbal and written)
• Understand the importance of ESG for fund management and what is important for GRESB submission.
• Learn to be adaptable and work with different people within an organisation

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 1) We are looking for an energetic and driven candidate with a strong interest in real estate investment;
• 2) 2nd or 3rd year undergraduate studying towards a degree in accountancy, finance, economics, real estate or another related subject. Master students can also apply;
• 3) Keen interest in the real estate investment field and willing to learn;
• 4) Team player;
• 5) Strong excel modelling and analysis skill;
• 6) Good communication skills (both verbal and written); and
• 7) Good analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative)
