We're excited to announce that applications for the KONE 2027 Apprenticeship Program are now open in Victoria. We're looking for the next generation of apprentices to join our team and build a rewarding career in the vertical transportation industry.

We are seeking motivated 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Year Apprentices in both Electrical and Mechanical disciplines . This is an exciting opportunity to learn from industry experts, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to the installation, maintenance, and modernization of lifts and escalators across Victoria.

At KONE, you'll be supported throughout your apprenticeship journey with structured training, career development opportunities, and the chance to work with one of the world's leading elevator and escalator companies.

What You'll Be Doing

• •Work alongside qualified electrical and mechanical technicians to develop practical, on-the-job skills
• •Assist with the installation, maintenance, and modernization of KONE elevators and escalators
• •Learn industry safety standards, regulations, and best practices
• •Participate in a structured training program with ongoing mentoring and support
• •Complete all required TAFE studies and apprenticeship requirements
• •Develop the technical knowledge and problem-solving skills needed for a successful trade career

What We're Looking For

• •Have completed secondary school or hold a High School Certificate (or equivalent)
• •Be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen, or an Australian Permanent Resident
• •Hold, or be in the process of obtaining, a current C Class Driver Licence
• •Have a genuine interest in developing skills in electrical and/or mechanical trades
• •Be motivated to learn, grow, and take on new challenges
• •Take pride in delivering quality work
• •Be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
• •Demonstrate teamwork and contribute to a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace
• •Have a strong commitment to safety
