LOCATION: Lima, OH
- DAYS: M-F
- HOURS: 4:30pm-8:30pm
- PART TIME: Benefits Not Eligible
What You'll Do:
- Prepares specimens through proper handling protocols to ensure the viable specimens, as well as accurate clinical results.
- Utilizes standard procedures to identify the patient, label, record all test tubes, log procedures, and enter specimen data into the computer system.
- Responds quickly, courteously, and professionally toward, clients, and co-workers to provide exceptional customer service and adhere to the Company’s values and business practices.
- Handles administrative duties to receive, identify, accession, and process specimens using established protocols to facilitate timely and accurate test performance.
- Prepares specimens for transportation, including labeling vials accurately and matching blood specimens to patients.
- Understands laboratory requisitioning for appropriate billing documentation.
- Keeps work area clean and maintains adequate laboratory supplies.
- Maintains compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and laboratory safety practices.
- Utilizes personal protective equipment (PPE) and follows all safety and standard protection guidelines.
- Answer phones
- Give results to Physician offices
