Lakota Solutions - Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Quality Assurance Lead

Lakota Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates for an Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Quality Assurance Lead on the swing shift to support our contract at Eglin AFB, FL. This position will report directly to the Site Manager and implements a quality management program that meets or exceeds all contract quality management requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• •Assesses the effectiveness of the maintenance process and determines if QC maintenance evaluations are achieving the intended results, samples are adequate to predict trends, and/or focus needs to be redirected.
• •Conducts the maintenance evaluation program.
• •Performs Personnel Evaluations (PEs), Supervisory Evaluations (SEs), Equipment Condition Inspections (ECIs), and In-Process Inspections (IPIs).
• •Individual is responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures of the Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Security Programs.
• •Establishes priorities based on mission requirements, customer needs, and resource availability utilizing 5S+1 LEAN principles and methodologies.
• •Clears Red “X” condition discrepancies and other forms symbols as required.
• •Ensures site personnel properly and accurately complete maintenance documentation and time accounting systems associated with repairs using basic computer skills in the daily performance of duties.
• •Person is responsible for ensuring site compliance of all applicable technical orders, equipment manuals, operating instructions and regulations by workcenter personnel in the performance of daily duties.
• •Ensures immediate work area, facilities, and vehicles are maintained using good housekeeping and safety practices.
• •May be required to perform like and similar duties of a lesser job description and other ancillary duties as assigned.
• •Required to provide management oversight of site Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Security Programs and directly supervises assigned Production Support personnel.
• •Additionally provides oversight of tool control, maintenance scheduling, technical data, and bench stock programs.
• •Person establishes priorities for work center personnel based on mission requirements, customer needs, and resource availability.
• •Ensures work center personnel meet training requirements.
• •Maintains flight records management program.
• •Required to perform assigned tasks within your work center that directly supports necessary functions of this job classification.
• •Will be required to act as Site Manager in the Site Manager’s absence with all responsibilities, excluding responsibilities restricted by the applicable negotiated CBA.
• •Individual will be required to performed additional duties as required by Site Manager.

Requirements

Basic Minimum Requirements

Candidate must be US Citizen

Candidate must have ability to obtain and maintain Common Access Card (CAC)

Candidate must have eligibility to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance

Candidate must have 10+ years experience with the following:

• •Working as an Aerospace Ground Equipment Mechanic in the previously described duties
• •Individual must possess basic knowledge and understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic principles.
• •Must be able to read and use electrical wiring diagrams in the performance of maintenance.
• •Basic computer skills are required.
• •Must be able to operate common and special hand and power tools in the performance of duties.
• •Individual must be capable of operating special test and diagnostic equipment.
• •Must be able to obtain and maintain valid state and flightline driver license
