LATAM HR Leader, Amazon Ads

We are looking for a strategic regional HR Leader (HRBP) who will partner with the executive leadership of the Latin America Advertising business, covering Mexico, Brazil, and Costa Rica, with a potential expansion into other marketplaces.

You will provide guidance and support on topics related to organizational health, culture, talent succession planning, executive development, and organizational transformation and planning for the future. You lead the design and implementation of globally consistent HR initiatives, tailored with local insight to ensure relevance and impact. From building future-ready org structures to driving bar-raising leadership capability, you enable the business to scale with agility and precision.

You foster inclusive, locally resonant cultures aligned with Amazon’s Leadership Principles, while ensuring compliance with diverse and complex labor laws. Your work balances global alignment with regional expertise.

• Key job responsibilities
• Organizational Design & Strategy: Partner with regional Ads executives to design scalable workforce plans tailored to rapid business growth.
• Talent Management: Drive talent reviews, executive coaching, leadership development, and succession planning.
• Labor Compliance: Ensure all workforce strategies align with diverse, evolving local labor regulations across LATAM countries (Mexico, Brazil, and Costa Rica)
• Data-Driven Insights: Utilize internal metrics and analytics to spot retention trends, address root systemic issues, pulse check employee engagement, and scale organization health.

• You work on and collaborate with an international HRBP team that are located in the US, Canada, APAC, MENA, EU, and LATAM. We come from a diverse background, and we operate with a global mindset. Basic qualifications

• - 8+ years of HR Generalist or HR Specialist in a corporate environment experience
• - Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• - Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English

Preferred qualifications

- Fluent in English and Spanish or Portuguese.
