Lead Android Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Android Engineer based in Spain.

• As a Lead Android Engineer, you’ll help shape high-performance mobile applications within a next-generation decentralized cloud and AI environment.
• You’ll take ownership of Android architecture, technical direction, performance, security, and the complete mobile delivery lifecycle.
• Working primarily with Kotlin and modern Android technologies, you’ll build scalable experiences that interact with distributed backend systems.
• You’ll collaborate closely with backend, infrastructure, and product teams to solve complex technical challenges.
• The role offers significant autonomy and requires strong architectural judgment, engineering ownership, and attention to quality.
• You’ll also mentor engineers and help establish standards across Android development, CI/CD, testing, and releases.
