The Purpose of Your Role

The Lead Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing complex datasets, uncovering business insights, and enabling informed decision-making across HR platforms. The role involves close collaboration with business partners, product owners, and technology teams to understand business needs, define analytical requirements, and deliver meaningful insights through data exploration, reporting, dashboards, and advanced analytics. The Lead Data Analyst drives data quality, establishes analytical best practices, mentors team members, and helps shape the data and analytics roadmap. The role also requires proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement, measuring business outcomes, and ensuring data-driven solutions align with organizational objectives.

Actively participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, design discussions, code reviews, and other collaborative team activities.

Develop a strong understanding of business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and guide the team in delivering the right outcomes through clear functional and technical understanding.

Partner with global stakeholders and provide timely support to end users by addressing questions, clarifying API functionality, and ensuring effective adoption of solutions.

Collaborate across teams to identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to delivering scalable, high-quality solutions that meet business needs.

Your ability to define use cases and distill complex concepts makes you an invaluable resource to stakeholders.

You excel at creating user stories and assessing the impact of changes to datasets and data models. Leveraging your solid understanding of agile methodologies, you break down complex initiatives into manageable tasks. Experience with Jira or Jira Align is a plus.

With advanced SQL, you analyze and wrangle datasets to uncover actionable insights.

Experience with Snowflake, Oracle, Postgres SQL, Copilot, Power BI , Alation, Collibra , Power Designer, Python and Modeling would be a plus.

You communicate sophisticated concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, consistently making the complex understandable.

Your passion for continuous learning drives you to master new skills and stay informed about the latest advancements in data analytics.

You demonstrate strong data analysis and profiling skills, with the ability to develop comprehensive validation scenarios.

You have experience working with integrated enterprise data in cross-functional teams, skillfully evaluating alternative solutions and recommending optimal approaches.

You apply best practices in data management and data governance when designing and building data solutions.

Your communication and presentation skills are exceptional, enabling you to build relationships and effectively convey ideas.
