Position Summary

We are looking for a Lead Demand Planner to help drive an accurate, actionable, and aligned demand plan for our Consumer business. This role will serve as a planning resource within the Demand Planning team, combining strong analytical capabilities with cross functional leadership and planning expertise.

The Lead Demand Planner will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, Supply Planning, and other partners to understand market and customer dynamics, challenge assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and translate insights into the demand plan. Cross functional partnership is also reflected in existing internal Demand Planning role materials.

This person will also help strengthen planning capabilities across the team by sharing best practices, improving processes, supporting planner development, and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• •Lead development and enrichment of the demand forecast across assigned products and channels.
• •Analyze statistical forecasts, historical performance, customer demand signals, promotions, product changes, and market trends to develop a well supported demand outlook.
• •Monitor forecast accuracy and Forecast Value Add to identify opportunities to improve planning performance.
• •Partner with Sales on sell in expectations, promotions, product launches, and changes in customer or channel demand, consistent with the current Demand Planning approach.
• •Work closely with Supply Planning and other partners to identify demand and supply risks and communicate business implications.

Minimum Qualifications

• •Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• •Strong experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain planning, or a related analytical role.
• •Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear business recommendations.
• •Experience with advanced planning systems and forecasting tools.
• •Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities.
• •Understanding of statistical forecasting, forecast accuracy, bias, and Forecast Value Add.
• •Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Supply Chain.
• •Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain assumptions, risks, and recommendations.
