Lead Information Security Engineer, ITC

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will report to the Director, Cyber Security Engineering located at India Technology Center (ITC). We are a diverse, cross-functional team that collaborates globally across the organization with a variety of stakeholders from service desk technicians to system architects, developers and lawyers. You will partner closely with Cyber Defense, Enterprise Cyber Security Consulting, Data Protection, Windows Client/Server Platform and Cloud Security/Automation teams to assess, analyze, and optimize operational tasks, functions, documenting and processes.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Lead Information Security Engineer. This role uses extensive knowledge of international standards, industry best practices, professional experience, collaboration and good judgment to implement a business focused information security strategic roadmap. This role will be part of a team that is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining network security technology roadmaps that provide an effective security framework allowing Nike to move rapidly but securely into new business enabling technologies.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

• •Expert knowledge of Network Security and information security standards, principles, practices with minimum 10+ years of experience. Who have played the role of an technical lead and guided the team members day to day basis and have security first mind set.
• •Expert knowledge of securing various network types including managed data centers and cloud-based networks.
• •Demonstrated relevant security expertise in implementing secure solutions and services for a mix of the following areas:
• •Should have hands-on technical expertise on Firewalls and Network, Network Devices, VPN, WAF. Have good work experience in cloud native environments.
• •This role must be proficient at the techniques that go into the implementation of solution architectures, including requirements discovery and troubleshoot complex network problems, application of abstraction, formulation of solution context, solution alternatives identification and assessment, technology selection, and implementation.
• •The ability to assess risk and translate it to business relevant considerations and facts and able to guide the team with technical expertise.
• •Contribute to the development of a multi-year business focused IT Security Solution Roadmap
• •Contribute to the development of an annual Security roadmap outlining key initiatives in support of the Nike Information Security Strategy
• •Provide input into the creation of the annual IT Security budget and able to access the Network Security needs.
• •Implement a sustainable network security framework to allow secure technology standardization across multiple Nike business segments.
• •Develop business cases for the adoption of new technology, standards and processes.
• •Review projects for security concerns and provide security guidance to business partners
• •Work with peers throughout Nike Inc. to collect input on needed security capabilities
• •Gain understanding of the effectiveness of security policies and technologies.
• •Support management in understanding architectural and operational information risk within/against Nike
• •Staying current on security technologies, trends, standards and best practices
• •Continually update relevant security skills
• •Other duties and responsibilities as assigned based on need of the business requirements.

As a Nike Lead InformationSecurity Engineer the following certifications are strongly preferred:

• •Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), (CCNP)
• •Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• •Any Firewall relevant certification will be ideal to have
