What You’ll Do:

As a Boochyard Lead Pizza Cook, you will be leading the prep and cooking of pizza and like food accurately and efficiently while providing customer satisfaction in a high-impact, high-visibility role.

• •Uphold our company values and be a knowledgeable Boochyard resource
• •Create, test and refine pizza recipes and menu items
• •Train and instruct staff on food prep, recipes, portioning and proper kitchen procedures
• •Ensure kitchen staff follow food safety, sanitation and quality control standards
• •Monitor product consistency, taste and presentation
• •Troubleshoot and resolve kitchen issues as they arise during service
• •Train new kitchen staff
• •Complete inventory sheets weekly, for ordering
• •Maintain an organized, efficient and clean kitchen environment
• •Lead by example during service and support team performance
• •Follow all health and safety regulations
• •Interact with guests in a positive and enthusiastic way to create a pleasant and enjoyable experience for all guests.
• •Consistently maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and general upkeep of taproom.
• •Additional responsibilities that arise as required / requested.

Requirements

What You'll Need:

• •Preferred Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant is required.
• •License or Certification: Must have CA Food Handlers card or willing and able to get before hire date
• •Specialized Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Strong attention to detail and cleanliness; Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• •Other skills : Willingness and ability to actively respond to inquiries and / or complaints from guests in a timely, efficient, and effective manner.
• •Must have flexible availability and ability to work different shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must also be willing and able to work overtime as it arises

Physical Requirement s: Must be able to perform physical requirements of this position, which may include but are not limited to: lifting, bending over, kneeling, twisting, climbing on ladders, stooping,, crouching, and ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs..

This position pays $20.00 per hour plus tips.
