The opportunity at Beam

We’re looking for hands-on Lead Product Engineers to drive forward our engineering department. As a Lead Engineer you will be coding. driving technical direction and a people manager of a small product team.

Building a high performing team

Owning technical direction within your team

Growing and individuals into doing the best work of their careers

Directing traffic within the team and deciding technical priorities

Remaining hands-on, building product every day

Taking joint ownership with the product team over team and product direction

Leveling up our management team to build an exceptional culture

What we’re looking for

Breadth of fullstack experience

1+ years of experience running a team

1+ years of experience managing individuals as a line manager

Proven experience building high performing teams

Product mindset, passionate about building the right thing

Genuine excitement about the power of AI and how it will shape our profession.

• Compensation :
• £130,000 - £160,000 base salary depending on experience and performance during interviews + equity and amazing benefits (see our careers page)

1 hour technical test with two of our Senior Engineers

1 hour systems design interview with two of our Senior Engineers

30 minute product and cultural interview with one of our founders
