Job Title: Lead Software Engineer

The Purpose of This Role

The Alternate Investment Team, within Fidelity Institutional Technology (FIT), is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join the team to help build and maintain high quality product and solutions to enable Alternate Investment business. We are looking for a person who has hands-on software engineering experience building cloud-based systems using modern, scalable, resilient, Cloud native architectures (Containers and Serverless). Monitors and maintains the operational stability of services within the Cloud. Able to navigate and mange technical complexities while developing secure and scalable solutions for our customers.

The Value You Deliver

• •Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information System, or a related field.
• •Minimum 5+ Years Related Technology Experience, financial industry experience a plus.
• •Demonstrated experience of full Software Development Life Cycle using Java/J2EE technologies, DevOps, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Development.
• •Proficient with AWS EKS, Lambda, S3, AWS Textract, AWS SageMaker and overall AWS based application development / deployment. AWS Developer Certification is added advantage.
• •Working experience of AI/ML capabilities, including Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• •Experience designing and developing RESTful services using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Swagger, Docker, YAML, JSON.
• •Knowledge of Single Page Applications (SPAs) and reusable web component using Angular framework and bootstrap is a plus.
• •Knowledge of batch job scheduling and dependency management using BMC Control-M for distributed systems.
• •Document handling and Data Analytics
• •Understanding of LLM.

The FIT platform, we support is used by 300+ Correspondent banks, 5000+ Investment Advisors, 12 million+ retail customers and 130+ hedge funds and is capable of handling over 1 million trades per day amounting to 300 million shares. The FBT India team is distributed across Chennai and Bangalore.
