Lead Water Engineer – Qld Water Planning Team

Join a growing Queensland Water Planning team working on a strong pipeline of city-shaping projects for leading water utilities. Based in Brisbane or Maroochydore, you’ll influence critical infrastructure decisions, strengthen client relationships and help shape the capability and direction of our team—delivering practical, sustainable outcomes for communities across Queensland.

What you’ll do

• •Advise clients on complex engineering projects from concept to delivery
• •Lead and work with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical and industry challenges
• •Deliver high-quality network planning advice that informs decisions
• •Contribute to resilient and innovative engineering solutions

What you’ll bring

• •Relevant engineering qualifications and a current RPEQ registration (or ability to obtain this)
• •At least 10-12 years’ experience in the water industry
• •Strong technical expertise in water and/or wastewater network planning
• •A track record of delivering practical, high-impact outcomes for water utilities
• •Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
• •Established relationships across the Southeast QLD water sector would be highly regarded
• •The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions
