Lean Engineer

About the job:

• •Analyzes moderately complex value stream mappings to develop continuous improvement recommendations. Analysis focuses on production/administration processes in the area of quality, safety, delivery, and cost. (60%)
• •Draws conclusions on potential improvement strategies for review with the lean team. Recommendations may be shared with the business. (25%)
• •Tracks project progress to ensure quality and adherence to project and company objectives. (10%)
• •Supports a lean specialty sub committee in area of focus. (5%)
• •Other duties as assigned.

About you:

• •Bachelor or university degree
• •One to two years of experience
• •Familiarity with lean practices (six sigma, kaizen)
• •Yellow belt certification preferred
• •Experience with global manufacturing companies preferred
• •Knowledge in MS Office
• •Strong analytical skills
• •Strong communication skills
• •High attention to detail
