ABOUT PEOPLE & CULTURE AT ROCKET LAB:

Rocket Lab’s People & Culture team is growing, and we’re looking for a Learning & Development Advisor who’s passionate about building capability, leading engaging learning experiences, and helping shape the future of our Rocket Lab academies.

In this role, you'll take a strong lead in facilitating learning, maintaining oversight of our existing Academy programmes, and contributing to the design and roll‑out of newly created learning academies.

You'll also support the continuous improvement of our broader learning ecosystem, ensuring employees have meaningful, practical, and accessible learning opportunities that support their growth and performance.

You will work closely with the L&D Team Lead and key stakeholders to ensure our learning pathways are effective, relevant, and aligned to organisational together while being active in the development of the digital learning solutions themselves.

KEY RESPONSILBILITIES INCLUDE:

Facilitating high‑impact training sessions and workshops, both in-person and virtually

Maintaining oversight of the Academy programmes, ensuring consistency, quality, and continuous improvement

Supporting the design and implementation of newly created learning academies

Contributing to the development of blended learning resources, using strong but practical instructional design capability

Assisting with onboarding programs and ensuring new employees have a smooth and engaging learning experience

YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Management, or related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Learning and Development or a related role

Proven experience in delivering effective training programs

Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS)

Expertise using e- learning software such as Articulate Storyline

Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies

Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills

Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e- learning software

Strong organisational and project management

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:

Experience in production. manufacturing, or technical industries

Certification in training and development is a plus

Experience with AI in an L&D environment
