Legal & Compliance Senior Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Legal & Compliance Senior Lead based in Romania.

• This is a senior, high-ownership legal and compliance role supporting the launch and growth of a fintech business across Europe.
• You will act as the primary legal owner for the Netherlands while supporting Belgium with the guidance of external local counsel.
• The role covers the full legal journey from entity incorporation and governance through to operational readiness and ongoing compliance.
• You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams across product, compliance, finance, and operations.
• Your expertise will help shape financing agreements, partner arrangements, regulatory strategy, payments, data protection, and lending operations.
• You will also have the opportunity to contribute to expansion into additional European markets as the business grows.
