POSITION PROFILE:

Pinnacle Mortgage is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Loan Coordinator to support our Loan Officers, Loan Officer Assistants (LOAs), and Processing team.

The Loan Coordinator plays an important role in keeping loan files moving by verifying application information, ordering required third-party services, obtaining documentation, and following up on outstanding items. This position requires someone who is proactive, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced mortgage environment.

A strong sense of urgency is essential. The Loan Coordinator must be able to identify what is needed, take ownership of obtaining it, and consistently follow up with borrowers, employers, vendors, and internal team members until outstanding items are resolved.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with Loan Officers, LOAs, and Processors to support mortgage loan files throughout the loan process.

Review and verify loan application information for accuracy and completeness.

Order appraisals and monitor appraisal orders through completion.

Obtain and follow up on insurance binders and related insurance documentation.

Complete and/or coordinate Verifications of Employment (VOE), including income and employment verification.

Work directly with third-party vendors to order and obtain required loan documentation and services.

Communicate with borrowers when additional information or documentation is required.

Provide timely updates to Loan Officers, LOAs, and Processors regarding outstanding items and file status.

Identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent information and work with the appropriate parties to resolve issues.

Provide a high level of customer service to both external customers and internal partners.

Ability to work independently while also collaborating closely with the mortgage operations team.

Previous mortgage, banking, lending, real estate, or financial-services experience preferred.

Familiarity with mortgage loan documentation and the loan origination process is a plus

Experience with MS Office Suite
