Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Paediatric Audiologist to support NHS paediatric audiology services in Lincoln. This role is ideal for a clinician with strong expertise in paediatric audiometry for children under 5 years, working in line with NHS processes and standards. The post offers the opportunity to work within complex paediatric testing environments as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver paediatric audiological assessments for children under 5 years.

Perform VRA, otoacoustic emissions, and tympanometry in line with NHS protocols.

Assess, manage, and follow up paediatric patients with hearing difficulties.

Maintain accurate, timely clinical records.

Work collaboratively within paediatric audiology and MDT services.

Qualifications and Experience

Degree in Audiology or equivalent qualification.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in paediatric audiometry (essential).

Experience with VRA, OAE, and tympanometry for under‑5s within the NHS.

Minimum 3 years’ NHS experience (desirable).

Experience in paediatric hearing aid assessment and fitting (desirable).

Experience acting as a Lead Audiologist in complex paediatric settings (desirable).

Strong clinical judgement, communication, and organisational skills.
