Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician (MMT) to join the pharmacy team at Pilgrim Hospital in Boston, Lincolnshire. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a busy NHS hospital setting, supporting ward‑based medicines management services and ensuring safe and effective use of medicines. The successful candidate will have previous NHS hospital ward experience and be confident working directly with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver ward‑based medicines management services across inpatient areas.
Support medicines reconciliation and optimisation for hospitalised patients.
Work collaboratively with pharmacists and clinical teams on the wards.
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with NHS policies.
Contribute to safe, effective, and patient‑centred medicines use.
Qualifications and Experience
Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Previous NHS hospital ward experience is essential.
Experience working as a Medicines Management Technician (MMT).
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
