Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking a highly experienced Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to independently manage a specialist adult voice caseload. This locum opportunity offers flexibility to work remotely or in-person across clinics in Hull and East Riding.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working with voice disorders and demonstrate advanced therapeutic skills, including training in techniques such as the Accent method.
Key Responsibilities
Independently manage a specialist caseload of adult voice patients
Deliver evidence-based voice therapy interventions
Work remotely or in clinic settings across Hull and East Riding
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service development
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient-centred care
Requirements
Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (required)
Minimum 3 years’ experience working with voice disorders
Completion of short courses related to voice therapy (e.g. Accent method)
HCPC registration and full RCSLT membership (required)
Experience using SystmOne (preferred for remote working) • Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
