Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 8a Pharmacist to work at a private hospital in Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a leading private healthcare setting, delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services across a range of specialist areas. The successful candidate will support multidisciplinary teams and play a key role in optimising patient care and medicines management.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical pharmacy support across surgical, rehabilitation, cardiology, and general medical services
Ensure the safe, effective, and cost-efficient use of medicines
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes
Support medicines optimisation initiatives and clinical governance processes
Contribute to service delivery and continuous improvement within the pharmacy department
Qualifications and Experience
Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
Proven experience working at Band 8 level (or equivalent)
Strong clinical background in one or more of the following areas:
Surgical
Rehabilitation
Cardiology
General medicine
Excellent clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
Strong communication and teamworking abilities
