Job Description Summary

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating logistics, transportation, warehousing, and supply chain activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of products, spare parts, and materials. The role works closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and service teams to optimize logistics operations and support business objectives while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• •Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely delivery of products and spare parts.
• •Manage transportation, customs clearance, import/export processes, and related documentation.
• •Monitor inventory movements and work closely with warehouse teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
• •Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers to ensure efficient logistics operations.
• •Track shipment status and proactively resolve delivery issues, delays, and escalations.
• •Analyze logistics and supply chain performance metrics and recommend process improvements.
• •Ensure compliance with local regulations, trade compliance requirements, and company policies.
• •Support demand planning and inventory management activities to optimize stock levels.
• •Maintain accurate logistics records, reports, and shipment documentation.
• •Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• •Partner with Service, Operations, Procurement, and Finance teams to support business and customer requirements.

Required Qualifications

• •Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering.
• •3 to 5 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or Warehouse Operations.
• •Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs clearance, and transportation management.
• •Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms).
• •Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• •Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• •Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

• •Professional certifications such as APICS (CPIM/CSCP), CILT, or Lean Six Sigma are plus.
• •Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or highly regulated industries is preferred.
• •Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs compliance.
