This position ensures a high service, cost effective logistics network. Proactively searches out ways of reducing costs and improving services. Develops network models, identifies inefficiencies and implements improvements to current logistics activities.

Position follows our hybrid schedule: Monday-Wednesday in office, Thursday-Friday remote.

What You'll be Doing:

• •Review and analyze contract requirements and establish logistic planned tasks to ensure satisfactory realization of the contract requirements.
• •Prepare or direct the preparation and implementation of integrated logistic support plans and logistic element plans.
• •Provide technical support to staff on problems as they arise.
• •Identify all activities that involve providing logistical support needed.
• •Integrate the actions required of each activity into a comprehensive logistics plan in support of or to be incorporated into overall program plans.
• •Monitor progress toward meeting the logistics plan and identifies the cause and impact of delays or other problems (varying degrees of responsibility for taking actions to prevent or overcome such problems may also be included).
• •Adjust plans and schedules for all related actions as required by delays or changes to logistics requirements.
• •Evaluate plans for and provisions of logistical support for feasibility, efficiency, and economy and develop alternatives when required.
• •Lead team in absence of a manager; lead junior analysts.
• •Identify cost efficiencies and analyze current business practices.

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):

• •Bachelor of Business Administration degree with 4 years of experience.
• •In lieu of formal education, at least 8 years of progressive related experience in logistics operations, inventory management, purchasing management and government procurement systems.
• •Specific contract requirements will prevail.
• •5 years of experience in logistics or a military background with knowledge of logistics.
• •3 years of supervisory experience.
• •Strong project management skills.
• •Ability to use a personal computer, including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and database software.
• •Lean logistics knowledge a plus, but not required.
