Duties

• •Serves as Principal Executive and Advisor to DCS, G4 for the US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC).
• •Directs and oversees the execution and implementation of the Logistics Career Programs.
• •Serves as the command logistics subject matter expert for the approval of funding for Military Inter-departmental Purchase Requests, contracts and task orders, and Inter-service Support Agreement. missions.
• •Reviews operational summaries and recommends solutions to logistics shortfalls and problems or identifies the tactical and operational impact on operations and training.
• •Identifies requirements, organizes, and distributes authorized personnel resources.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) Providing solutions to complex and precedent setting logistics issues submitted by subordinate organizations. 2) Evaluating logistics management programs to ensure goals, milestones, and objectives are met by subordinate organizations. 3) Identifying resource requirements for a program's logistics strategy and support programs; 4) Analyzing system and equipment performance data to resolve technical or procedural deficiencies; and 5) Executing delegated authority as a principal member of the leadership team, directly leading, supervising, and mentoring a high-performing professional staff to resolve complex, precedent-setting logistics issues across a multi-echelon special operations enterprise. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).
