LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Summary

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the AIR SYSTEMS GROUP, SYSTEMS SAFTETY & AIR SYSTEMS INTEGRATION DEPARTMENT, AIR SYSTEMS INTEGRATION DIVISION of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Duties

• •You will support System Safety and Air Systems Integration Department, PMA 265; F/A-18, and Air Systems Group by adhering to policies, executing processes, following procedures and producing documentation to create an integrated support package.
• •You will be responsible for industrial and maintenance planning, maintenance program and supply integration, integrated support, training and training support, and support equipment management and integration.
• •You will integrate maintenance and supply functions, and maintenance scheduling and management.
• •You will execute and manage logistics research and development, assessing and utilizing industry practices to improve maintenance technologies, manufacturing sciences, and technology insertion in the acquisition process.
• •You will provide support from concept refinement and technology development through disposal to ensure maintainability, readiness, supportability, and affordability.
• •You will perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or (DS-04) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes: 1) Managing and directing the efforts of all engineering and logistics personnel assigned (or matrixed) within the program supported; 2) Planning and executing supply for the program product and service demands; 3) Determining, based on technical information/feedback/funding availability, the best approach in expending resources to insure successful logistics support posture; 4) Utilizing established planning tools and procedures to plan, establish, and execute effective total life cycle goals for the assigned system; and 5) Creating and proposing additional planning tools as needed in support of the applicable program.
