About ACDC

Established in Taiwan in 2001, the Asia Continental Distribution Center (ACDC) serves as a critical logistics hub for Applied Materials across the Asia-Pacific region. Together with North America and Europe, ACDC forms a highly integrated global network that supports customers and business operations worldwide 24/7.

To support the continued growth of the global semiconductor industry, ACDC completed a major expansion and relocation in 2025. The new facility is a modern, highly automated logistics center designed to deliver greater efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Leveraging advanced automation and data-driven operations, ACDC is helping accelerate AI, machine learning, and next-generation supply chain capabilities, further strengthening Applied Materials' speed, resilience, and leadership in the global semiconductor supply chain.

We are seeking a Logistics Process & Cost Analyst based in Taoyuan to support Applied Materials’ growing logistics operations and evolving customer requirements. This role will collaborate with cross-functional and regional teams, as well as external stakeholders, to optimize logistics processes, develop scalable and sustainable solutions, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and cost performance.

Key areas of focus include cross-regional process alignment for TSMC, daily logistics process analysis and solution development, and cost and operational efficiency improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• •Consolidate TSMC logistics processes across regions and develop a logistics playbook to provide guidance and best practices for process design and execution. Continuously coordinate with regional teams to keep the playbook updated and relevant.
• •Review and analyze daily logistics operations, respond to rapidly changing customer demands, and translate business and service requirements into scalable and sustainable process solutions.
• •Analyze logistics costs and operational efficiency across import/export, warehousing, and distribution to support CIP initiatives and identify additional cost-saving opportunities.
• •Prepare and maintain necessary reports to support regular operational reviews, issue analysis, solution development, and other business requirements.
• •Support internal and external audit requests by providing required data and supporting information.
• •Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address operational issues, process exceptions, and urgent customer requests, ensuring timely communication and effective resolution with minimal business impact.
• •Analyze and compare logistics processes and operating models to identify process gaps, key drivers, and standardization opportunities. Recommend improvements to enhance process consistency, operational efficiency, and service quality.

Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related discipline

Skillset:

• •Proven experience in logistics operations and process improvement, including warehouse operations, process optimization, and logistics project support.
• •Strong experience in logistics cost analysis and optimization, with the ability to identify key cost drivers and cost-saving opportunities.
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze operational and cost data and translate findings into actionable process improvements.
• •Experience in large-scale warehouse setup or automation projects is a plus.
• •Fluent English communication skill in writing and speaking.

Leadership

No supervisory responsibilities; able to influence and align stakeholders across functions and regions to support business objectives.

Years of Experience

7-10 Years of working experience in logistics, supply chain, IE or process improvement fields.
