The Role: Mergon Blackburn are currently hiring Machine Operators.

Hours of Work: Panama shifts; 2 weeks days/2 weeks nights working shift pattern, 6am – 6pm or 6pm – 6am (5 days one week/2 days second week)

The Role/Key Responsibilities:

Operate blow and injection moulding machines making plastic products

Do quality inspections of the products coming off the machine

Record accurate data of products, rejects, weights etc

Keep your work area safe and tidy, adhering to all health and safety regulations

To be successful in this role, you will likely have:

Previous experience operating a machine in a manufacturing/production environment

Familiar with handheld PPE and good working knowledge of health and safety practices

Able to work 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights where you will be working stood for long periods of time
