What to Expect?

This position reports to the production manager and is responsible for operating lines in accordance with work instructions to produce a quality product. You will need to troubleshoot machinery, communicate, and work efficiently with the team in fast-pace environment during a 10 hour day with 2 paid breaks.

On a daily basis our Machine Operator:

• •Perform first run quality inspections on incoming materials and finished products
• •Maintain product weight within item specifications
• •Ensure proper Lot Code dates are correct on package and masters correctly
• •Monitor material in hoppers or reservoir tanks and work in conjunction with the material handler and team lead to ensure hoppers or tanks are adequately stocked.
• •Monitor appearance of the product and make corrections within specifications
• •Perform efficient product changeovers and perform general housekeeping duties

What You Will Need:

• •Highschool diploma/GED
• •Stooping, lifting, bending, and standing long hours while operating equipment
• •Mathematical, organizational, and mechanical skills in production
• •Lift up to 50 pounds
• •Verbal and written skills
• •Pass FIT testing and respirator certified
