Machine Operator / Forklift Operator - Swing Shift

Canby, OR | Full-Time | Union Position Earn over $25/hour and over $80,000/year, bonuses, overtime opportunities, and weekly pay.

Pay Progression including wage progression and shift differential:

$21.50/hour starting rate - first 90 days

Average after 90 days $24-28/hour through daily incentive pay

Additional wage progression over 5 years starting after 90 days ($.67/hour increasing to $2.77/hour)

Additional $.50/hour swing shift differential

February 2027 guaranteed wage increase and $750 retention bonus

Schedule:

3:30 pm - 12:00 am Monday – Friday

Overtime opportunities are frequently available and can significantly increase annual earnings. Candidates must be flexible to work extended shifts and rotating weekends based on business needs.

What You'll Do:

Operate semi-automated production machines to manufacture automotive batteries in a fast-paced environment

Make machine adjustments, troubleshoot equipment issues, and perform operator preventative maintenance

Conduct visual inspections and required quality checks

Operate pallet jacks and sit down forklift in the assembly department

Maintain schedule and inventory accuracy, keep accurate records of production and defects

Follow all safety, quality, environmental, and production standards

Qualifications:

1+ year of assembly or similar experience in manufacturing environment preferred

Basic computer, reading, writing and math skills

Ability to work daily overtime up to 12 hours and weekends as needed

Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work in an industrial environment

Ability to wear required PPE

Successful completion of pre-employment background check, physical, drug screen, and employment eligibility verification
