SHIFT

LAN - Shift 1 ($0) (United States of America - Michigan)

• A BRIEF OVERVIEW
• The Lathe Operator is responsible for set up, perform offsets, and operate CNC lathes according to the established standard work for production purposes.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• •Select programs, collets, bushings and tooling for setup on CNC Lathe.
• •Perform setups as needed on CNC Lathe.
• •Operate CNC Lathe for production.
• •Complete required router information.
• •Perform first piece first article and in-process inspection of parts.
• •Manufacture parts to manufacturing prints or customer prints.
• •Maintain tooling on CNC lathe.
• •Perform weekly, monthly and quarterly maintenance on machine.
• •Perform housekeeping per 6S schedule.

• •Performs set up of 3 & 4 Axis CNC machines.
• •Operates multiple machines simultaneously.
• •Monitors the machine to ensure proper program performance.
• •Completes shop work orders, inspection documentation, and daily maintenance sheets.
• •Makes off sets and adjustments to machines with minimal supervision.
• •Advocates for the health and safety of self, co-workers, customers, and the community.
• •Support quality and compliance by adhering to all procedures, work instructions, and forms per the Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• •Completes all required training.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

High School Or Equivalent (Preferred)

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• •Lean Manufacturing Experience (Preferred)
• •Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing (Preferred)
• •2+ Years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment (Required)

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Machining Trade School (Preferred)
