Machine Operator - Night Shift

Plastipak in Champaign is growing & hiring. We manufacture packaging for products you use every day. Our facility is extremely clean, safe & climate-controlled. Joining us as a Machine Operator is a great way to get started with Plastipak.

Shift: Nights 6:45pm – 7:15 am

• •Standard rotating schedule of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
• •Includes 2 long-weekends every month
• •Full time schedules are 15 working days a month

Pay: Earn $19.50 per hour

• •$18.50 per hour
• •Plus $1.00 more for night shift differential

You Will

• •Safely operate machines & equipment.
• •Pull products with defects.
• •Pack products for distribution.
• •Keep equipment clean.
• •Learn new skills through ongoing training.

You Have

• •Mechanical ability. You like working with your hands, fixing things, etc.
• •Dependability & pride in a job well-done.
• •Ability to use basic hand tools, such as wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.
• •Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
