Maintenance Custodian

Provides light maintenance and custodian services for the Sellersburg campus. Duties include, but are not limited to, floor care, cleaning restrooms, classrooms and offices, and snow removal. Provides general service in response to work orders requests. Reports to the Director of Facilities.

Salary Range: $20 per hour

Major Responsibilities:

1. Performs housekeeping duties including cleaning, trash removal, etc., throughout assigned areas.

2. Cleans, waxes, and maintains floors throughout assigned areas.

3. Maintains cleanliness of restrooms.

4. Maintains cleanliness of parking lots, sidewalks, and grounds using available equipment.

5. Performs snow removal when required.

6. Provides general service in response to select work requests.

7. Performs other duties as assigned consistent with commonly accepted practices.

8. Assists in event set-up and tear-down when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

• •High School diploma or its equivalent (GED)
• •Requires general knowledge of housekeeping methods
• •Requires general knowledge of building and grounds maintenance procedures
• •Proven experience, punctuality, dependability and trustworthiness
