Maintenance Mechanical Technician

About you and this role

Provide maintenance services to the area production department in accordance with established work processes and quality requirements, while complying with safety, environmental, and national regulatory requirements, to improve equipment reliability.

Support the Maintenance Coordinator in carrying out routine technical and administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• •Work closely with production and relevant support teams to perform maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment.
• •Promptly documenting equipment failures and complete root cause analyses.
• •Complete equipment repair and maintenance records as required, including paper records and SAP system data entry, ensuring that information is accurate, complete, and traceable.
• •Perform work in accordance with established maintenance procedures and assist in resolving issues that arise during maintenance planning and execution.
• •Coordinate and manage maintenance spare parts to ensure stable and reliable equipment operation.
• •Support continuous improvement and efficiency enhancement within the maintenance and area production teams.
• •Actively participate in maintenance team and cross-disciplinary training, skills assessments, and capability development to continuously improve technical skills, work flexibility, and overall competence.
• •Actively participate in the annual performance review process and continuously improve work performance based on feedback to enhance both individual and team performance.

Qualifications

• •Associate degree or above; a background in mechanical design and manufacturing or a related field is preferred.
• •At least 3 years of equipment maintenance experience; relevant experience in the chemical industry is preferred.
• •Familiarity with the operating principles of rotating and stationary equipment and the ability to read mechanical drawings; maintenance experience with pumps, fans, compressors, refrigeration units, ball mills, reactors, heat exchangers, storage tanks, and similar equipment.
• •Proficiency in Word/Excel; experience using SAP is preferred.
• •Good English reading and writing skills are preferred.
